1. Are you taking new patients? Yes, we always welcome new patients.

2. What forms of payment do you accept? Most major insurances, blue cross/blue shield, medicaid, healthwave, VISA, Mastercard, Discover, check, cash. Payment plans are available when discussed with the business office in advance.

3. What should I do if my child is sick after hours or on the weekend? A pediatrician or pediatric nurse is always available to answer your questions after hours. Call 785-452-4009.

4. How long will it take for my child to get an appointment as a new patient or as an established patient? Same day appointments are available for sick children in both cases. Well checks are scheduled a month out.

5. Why should I use a pediatrician? Children have different health care needs than adults – both medical and emotional. Pediatricians have 3 years of specialty training to prevent and manage health problems in children.

6. What ages of patient do you treat? Newborn to 18 years, Established patients to age 23.

7. I have a doctor that I like, but I would like for a pediatrician to help me with a specific concern. How can I do that? Have your current doctor schedule a consultation for your child with on of our doctors. They will work with your current doctor until the problem is resolved, and then you can return to your doctor’s care.
