Meet Rebecca Martin

I am excited to serve in Salina as a pediatrician. I've spent most of my life in Kansas and look forward to living closer to family and friends.

In late elementary school I decided to become a physician in order to make people well. Through my jobs at local clinics and my small-town hospital, I fell in love with spending time with patients and families at the hospital bedside and clinic. Pediatric medicine, family education, and childhood development were especially intriguing to me, so I became a pediatrician.

Outside of medicine I have many interests, but am master of none. I play the piano and enjoy singing. In medical school I even sang as a chorus alto in the Bethany Oratorio Society's annual production of Handel's Messiah! I am a voracious reader of all things - history, literature, children's books, science, theology. Finally, I love to be outside in the sunshine, whether taking walks, hiking mountains, or doing yard work.
